The patchwork duvet was made in a really free and easy way, so it was such a relaxing project. I didn't obsess over how to arrange the strips, and didn't worry about perfectly straight seams. So different from making clothes!
Its lovely to sleep under. When the patchwork brushes your skin the linen textures feel so good. The underside is just one piece, an old, white flannel sheet. Soft and comforting. And I love to sleep under those colors and textures for a change (for ages our bedding was just all white.)
White linen, gray linen, striped linen, nani iro floral, creamy japanese cotton with embossed dots, feedsack floral. My fabric stash is much smaller now.
